The LifeGrid platform unites all scientific stakeholders in Auvergne (public and private laboratories, businesses) by creating a regional information system that will organise, store and distribute the data obtained from research.


LifeGrid seminar: ‘Ethics, Computer Science and Disability’’

The ‘Ethics, Computer Science and Disability’ seminar held on 30 June 2008 saw presentation of three research projects:
  • Presentation of LifeGrid, by the LifeGrid Technical Team
  • SIMPA: System d’Information Médical Partagé en Auvergne (Auvergne’s shared medical information system), by Dr Veillard, SIMPA
  • ESPOIRS-Handi: Evaluation Stratégique et Personnalisée par Outil Informatique des Situations de Handicap (Personalised strategic assessment of disability situations by computer), by Dr. Didier Vernay, Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital Centre.
