Newsletter 3: 3rd Enabling Grids for E-sciencE User Forum

The 3rd EGEE User Forum was held in Clermont-Ferrand from 11 to 14 February.

The Lifegrid programme was very well represented, with the largest stand (see photo), a number of posters, and oral presentation of a project.

A demonstration of the platform and, in particular, of the bioinformatic tools on the computing grid developed within the context of the project, was given.

At the end of the four days, the demonstration of the HOPE project (promoted by Lydia Maigne) was accoladed as one of the Forum’s five best, while the TriannotPipeline project formed the subject of an article in ISGTW – International Science Grid This Week.
